"Run thru the Sun"

7:30am 5k/10k

9:15 am kids 1-mile and 100 meter dash

 The HYSO “Run Thru the Sun” takes runners through the Del Webb, Sun City neighborhoods which features beautiful landscape, wide streets, good pavement and minimal traffic. Split times at every mile and water will also be available along the course. Food and drinks will be available to participants at the finish line. The race will be held rain or shine.   Sorry, no refunds.

USATF certified 5k and 10k race course!  (5k: IL-12078-JW, 10K: IL-12077-JW)

Bib chip timing...instant, accurate results!

FREE post race entry to Stingray Bay Aquatic Center for all participants and their families!  (12219 Lois Lane, Huntley)

On-site post-race CrossFit workout! 

T-shirts for all pre-registered 10k, 5k and kids 1-mile participants.

Medals for all 100 meter dash participants.

Award categories:   1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd place medals for each category: Under 10, 11-14 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 & 70+

Entry fees: 

5k/10k:  thru April $20

May/June $25

Kids 1-mile:  $15

Little kids 100 meter dash: $5
